據(jù)能源經(jīng)濟(jì)3月10日消息稱，印尼能源部一位高級(jí)官員周二表示，由于該國(guó)尋求加大煤炭氣化的努力，預(yù)計(jì)到2025年，該國(guó)的液化石油氣(LPG)進(jìn)口將比目前的數(shù)字減少6倍。

該部煤炭主管Sujatmiko在一次虛擬會(huì)議上說(shuō)，該國(guó)的液化石油氣進(jìn)口量將從2020年的610萬(wàn)噸下降到2025年的100萬(wàn)噸。

預(yù)計(jì)到2030年，印度尼西亞將完全停止進(jìn)口液化石油氣。

Sujatmiko說(shuō)：“我們對(duì)LPG的需求一直在增長(zhǎng)，我國(guó)LPG消費(fèi)量的75％至78％是通過(guò)進(jìn)口來(lái)滿足的。”

作為全球最大的動(dòng)力煤出口國(guó)，該國(guó)長(zhǎng)期以來(lái)一直承諾削減液化石油氣進(jìn)口，同時(shí)優(yōu)化國(guó)內(nèi)煤炭資產(chǎn)的使用，并在下游煤炭行業(yè)創(chuàng)造就業(yè)機(jī)會(huì)。

根據(jù)上個(gè)月的一項(xiàng)新總統(tǒng)規(guī)定，煤氣化是“優(yōu)先”投資清單的一部分，該清單提供了稅收減免或稅收優(yōu)惠等激勵(lì)措施。Sujatmiko表示，預(yù)計(jì)到2025年，

Indonesia LPG imports to fall sharply by 2025

Indonesia's imports of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) are expected to decline by six times in 2025 from current numbers, as the country seeks to ramp up its coal gasification efforts, a top energy ministry official said on Tuesday.

The country's LPG imports would decline from 6.1 million tonnes in 2020 to just 1 million tonnes in 2025, Sujatmiko, the ministry's director of coal, told a virtual conference.

By 2030, Indonesia is projected to stop importing LPG altogether.

"Our LPG needs are ever increasing, 75 per cent to 78 per cent of our LPG consumption in the country is fulfilled by imports," said Sujatmiko, who goes by one name.

The world's top exporter of thermal coal has long promised to cut LPG imports while optimising use of domestic coal assets, and creating jobs in a downstream coal industry.

Under a new presidential regulation last month, coal gasification features on a "priority" investment list, which offers incentives such as tax allowances or tax breaks.

Indonesia is expected to produce 4.56 million tonnes on dimethyl ether (DME), the LPG substitute derived from coal, in 2025, Sujatmiko said. This will increase to 6.89 million tonnes in 2030.

Industry experts, however, said last year that unless the production of DME is subsidised, the government should look at other ways to cut consumption of LPG.
