在一份證券備案文件中，巴國油表示，第二季度其石油日產(chǎn)量為2.802億桶原油。這比去年同期增長了6.4%，但比第一季度下降了3.7%。

巴國油表示，減產(chǎn)是由于淺水平臺停產(chǎn)、海上設(shè)施出現(xiàn)病例以及需求減少。公司此前曾宣布計劃休眠62個淺水平臺，這些平臺的提升成本往往相對較高。

今年7月，其規(guī)模龐大的Buzios油田的產(chǎn)量一直很強勁。在該地區(qū)運營的4個平臺的日產(chǎn)油量達到創(chuàng)紀錄的84.4萬桶。

Coronavirus Outbreaks Hit Quarterly Output at Petrobras

Coronavirus outbreaks at a number of platforms operated by Brazilian state-run oil firm Petrobras hit production in the second quarter, leading to a fall in output, the company said July 21.

In a securities filing, Petrobras said it produced 2.802 MMboe/d in the second quarter. That was up 6.4% from the same period last year but down 3.7% from the first quarter.

Petrobras said the reduction was due to the idling of shallow-water platforms, coronavirus outbreaks on offshore facilities and reduced demand. The company had previously announced the plans to hibernate 62 shallow-water platforms, whose lifting costs tend to be relatively high.

Among the larger platforms that saw production stoppages, Petrobras said, were the Capixaba, the Cidade de Santos, the Cidade de Angra dos Reis and the Cidade de Mangaritiba, all of which experienced significant coronavirus outbreaks among workers.

In July, Petrobras indicated that output has been strong in its massive Buzios oil field, the nation’s second most productive. Four platforms operating there hit a record in July of 844,000 boe/d, Petrobras said.
